Can owning/reading apostate material get me DF'ed?

if i own/read/admit to apostate material, can that get me df'ed?.
i know better then to admit that i believe the apostate material to the elders, or that i disagree with the society's teachings, but will simply admitting to owning and reading them get me df'ed?.

I said it in an earlier post, The WT is a multi billion dollar corporation and there number one goal is to protect it. If they admitted to guilt this would open up the flood gates of lawsuits to every person that was ever abused by another Dub and was covered up by the local elders. If that happened the GB of the Watchtower corporation might as well hand the keys over right now to all their assets. This may still happen but they will definitely go down with a fight.

many have stated how dumb the wtbts must be for arranging the judicial execution of bowen, given what the international media can do (and i sincerely hope *will* do) with the story of what the "society of the mentally-ill or perverted" in brooklyn did to the person who tried to save children from brutal and repeated rape.. actually, they had no real choice.
their real stupidity (and of course organizational criminality) was ever letting the scandal get to this stage, and we here should all know the mindset that made that happen.. given the position today, they *have* to judicially murder (the actual sentence to be executed by their crazed killer-god jehooooobah, note) - not because to "let him off" would signal more rebellions from those only held in by fear, but because the only way they can discredit bill is by calling him a disgruntled, ex-jw apostate.

I agree with you. The borg has no other alternative but to Disfellowship Bill. In their close society that depends on total control, that is the only way they know how to deal with dissenters. ( And they claim they are not a cult). As far as them keeping this scandal quiet, the genie is out of the bottle, so I think it is a little to late to hush it all up. Also now you have others that are coming forward and doing a lot of the letter writing etc. So it is not just a matter of shutting up silent lambs. The WT knows it is going to take a hit and a bad hit one on this. I don't think you will see the end of the WT in the near future but with all the legal lawsuits that they will be having to fight and the loss of funds coming in, there will have to be drastic changes within the organization in order for it to survive. So all you old farts on the GB take this warning to heart before its too late, you can't just go and stick your head in the sand and hope this all goes away because your haven't seen nothing yet.

I have already wrote an Email to CBC to get them to air the Panorama segment on Canadian television. I know they do air BBC stuff from time to time. I think the more that write to them and ask the better chance we have of them airing it.

I take it that legal representation is out of the question here? I think she would be in her rights to respond and say "due to the unorthodox request, I would like a legal representative present." "Until this request is honored I will not meet with you."
As someone has stated earlier here it sounds strange but the elders must be getting guidance from mother (WT legal department). I think she should fight fire with fire and talk to her own lawyer before she meets with them.
